so I had a really weird dream
last weekend
when for the first time
in a long time
I tried something new
for once
I remember you were there
even though you weren’t
and I don’t know why
It was 4:13
in the afternoon
and it was still dark
the sun didn’t rise that day
so no one went to work
or to school
everyone stayed at home
and you were there
and I mean it’s been a while
since we’ve talked
or anything really
so I was kind of surprised
and we didn’t do much
that day when the sun
stayed home
but we talked
and caught up
and it was really nice
but then I woke up
and it was like 5:30
in the morning
and the TV was on
so I turned it off
and I took my socks off
because I was getting kind of
warm
and I told myself
that we would talk
and catch up
and it would be really nice
but then I realized
why we hadn’t already
you didn’t want to
and really
neither did I
